Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust

The Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Consulting Ltd offers a range of services, including ecological consultancy, advisory service and corporate volunteering.

As a charitable trust, all money raised flows directly back to our place-based restoration efforts across the Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie River watersheds.

Ecological consultancy

The Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust provides a range of biological and environmental consultancy services for both the private and public sectors on the Moray Firth.

We can provide the following services, tailored for your needs:

  • Fish monitoring plans
  • Fish habitat surveys
  • Electrofishing surveys
  • Fishery audits and guidance for wind farm developments, utilities, road infrastructures and water crossings
  • Fish scale reading and interpretation
  • Freshwater pearl mussel surveys
  • Fish rescues and translocation
  • Fish and eel passage and barrier assessments
  • Fishery data requests to inform EIAs
  • Macro invertebrate surveys and monitoring
  • Water quality monitoring

All our staff are trained and highly experienced with extensive knowledge of the Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Catchments. Bespoke data, collected for specific tasks, can often be matched and compared with data from our long history of records, collected over many years.
