We’re looking for a Seasonal Project Officer to support delivery of the Scottish Invasive Species Initiative (SISI) across the Findhorn, Nairn, and Lossie catchments.
The Scottish Invasive Species Initiative is a multi-year project in northern Scotland, which aims to encourage communities to tackle invasive non-native species such as Japanese knotweed, giant hogweed and American mink. It is funded by the Scottish Government’s Nature Restoration Fund. This is a great chance to work in a nationally important project, gain or enhance your experience and make a real difference to Scotland’s nature.

Role: Seasonal Project Officer, Scottish Invasive Species Initiative (SISI)
Salary: £30,076 pro rata
Contract: 6 months fixed term from start date (April-September preferable)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, or potential to work on an agreed part time basis
Location: Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust office, Logie Steading, Dunphail, Moray, IV36 2QN.
We offer a hybrid, flexible working approach. Due to the nature of the role the candidate must be based in or nearby to the River Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie catchment areas.
Start Date: As soon as possible – to be discussed with selected candidate
