Our work

Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust

The Findhorn, Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust has a long-standing reputation for its work in freshwater fisheries management and invasive non-native species control, as well as education programmes with local schools.

In 2021 the Trust published its most recent Management Plan which reflected a broadening remit which encompasses staking action for habitat restoration and climate mitigation across our three river catchments, in response to growing concerns about the decline in wild Atlantic Salmon populations.

To deliver our work the Trust is both a partner in and leads landscape-scale partnership initiatives to work across sectors with landowners, land managers, local communities, businesses and authorities towards positive river stewardship.
