The aims of the trust are:
Our Findhorn, Nairn, and Lossie Catchments Management Plan was developed in 2021 and will have a duration of 5 years. The Plan outlines six priority areas: Climate Crisis, River Habitat and Land Use, Biosecurity and Invasive Non-Native Species, Fish and Fisheries, Marine and Inshore Environment, Education and Publicity.
Within these priorities, the Plan will seek to mitigate the effects of climate crisis through upland restoration. This will include working with landowners to:

The Findhorn Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust currently has two offices at Logie Steading in Dunphail, Forres. Our main office is where our FNLRT staff work out of and is also where our SISI project staff are based. Our second office is just next door and provides a dedicated workspace for our Findhorn Watershed Initiative staff to work from.
We are always happy to welcome drop-ins from the public and if you are interested in finding out more about our work, the rivers and what you can do to help, then please pop passed and say hello.
Logie Steading is a beautiful location and a great day out, with a variety of shops offering a range of goods, a café, gardens and several stunning walks by the river Findhorn.
The Trust looks after all native species, and is concerned with river catchment management on a holistic scale. There are various projects and activities carried out by the Trust which help it to fulfil its aims and objectives. The Trust works closely with local FDSFBs as well as other stakeholders and funding partners to do this.

The Trust is managed by an active and experienced Board, consisting of representatives of the District Salmon Fishery Boards, local angling associations and people interested in conservation, which meets four times per year.
